Help: Outlook 2000 mail checking message on status bar

I recently reinstalled Outlook 2000 and noticed a change of my email checking message disappeared from the status bar. Instead it came up with a check message in the middle of the window which cannot be seen if I'm working on another program. How can I reinstall that check message feature, such as &quot;Mail delivery Complete&quot;, on the status bar ( I tried reinstall Outlook but that doesn't work).<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hello,<br><br>I am assuming that you mean the bar at the bottom of the outlook window itself.<br><br>Click View and click Status Bar, it may be down under the arrows on the view menu.<br><br>Good Luck
