I have W2K Pro machines connected in to a workgroup. I created a local group policy on one of them to hide some start menu and desktop icons. I want it to affect only certain users who logon this machines locally instead of everyone, but I dont know if that is possible and how.

Can anybody help me on this Please?

Note: there is no domain on this network.

thanks

It is my understanding that LOCAL group policy applies to all local user accounts for that particular machine.

Thanks Robon,

you're right, but I don't want it to be applied to everybody who logs on the computer. I want it only for some particular users, lets Mary and jones only
