Help on opening Windows

Hi,
I am hoping you can give me some advise on the following problem:

When my Computer starts up it loads Windows and just after I see the Icons on the screen it loads five small windows "Open programme ccalled "Program" with" etc etc. I have to close these windows before going any further and often Windows will lock up at that point. I have run a number of Ad Aware type progrmmes and various virus checkers but can't find anything wrong. Nor can I find where these are being called from or what/why they are appearing.

Any advise much appreciated Cheers

I think you are in the wrong forum. This forum is for database help, but there are a lot of smart people here that maybe can help.

Sika2,
Sounds like you have the "Nail" virus. Or some other virus.
I found lots of help with my daughters laptop that seemed to have the same problem.
