Help on ImageIcon....

Im doing a Swing Game.

I have a background Picture that is inside a ImageIcon.
Then i have the moving object Picture (Like a charactare) in side of a ImageIcon object.

Now.. when i move the MOving object by hitting the right arrow in the keyboard, it goes slow, will running in the Background picture.. but when is movin in the area where there is NO image It move fast..

Anyone Knows, WHY!
I been havin this problem like for a month.

... probably because whilst moving against the background, it's got to draw the moving image, and redraw parts of the background just vacated by the image. There's another discussion in this forum, concerning writing graphics-oriented games in Java. Try doing a search to find it...
