Hi every one ,

I got question on ccna exam .
What is the bandwidth of isdn bri .
1. 64
2. 128
3. 144
4.156
I am confused is it 128 or 144 ..D channel is not used for data so answer is ????.

2. IS STP enable on vlans by default ?.

Any one with good info .
Thanks.

2 B channels for data at 64KB and one D which carries control and signalling info at 16K

I have seen this question before and think it is a trick question. Everybody knows ISDN is 2B channels each at 64K and 1D channel at 16, but in all Cisco tests the correct answer is the one Cisco expects. From memory I believe the answer they are looking for is 144K.

As for the STP question it is on by default.

turns out that you can use the signaling channel for data in some installations.. 128 plus 16 equals 144Kbps.

And yes, Spanning Tree is enabled by default in the Cisco world. Not true for others.. but we just care about Cisco here ;-)
