I have a couple of fields that i want to stay the same once i press the add new record button so i can see it on each record. I dont want to press ctrl+; or enter it in manually how would i do this?

I would say for htis it sounds like you could use the default property. In your form right click on the field you would like to stay the same and go to properties at the bottom of the menu. in one of the tabs there should be a default label and inside the text box to the right of that label insert type in the text you would like shown on every record.
