Help on Ab Initio products

Hi !

I am interested in knowing about Data Warehousing and ETL tools.

On searching through the net, I came across Ab Intio and its products, which I found were increasingly popular amongst the set of ETL tools. But their web-site (

http://www.abinitio.com)

does not provide much information about the products. Nor could I gather any information about them on the net as well.

1. Can anyone provide more detailed information about the Co>Operating System and Component Library products of Ab Initio ?
2. Would appreciate if documents/reference material could be made available on the same.
3. Would be happy if shareware-downloadables/demo's be available.

What is the basic differentiating factor in Engine based ETL tools and Code based ETL tools. Can you please give some examples of ETL products, basically whether they are Engine based or Code based.
