Help noob cant reboot!

Im compleatly new to SGI and Irix and im trying to reboot my machine.
I got it to shut down from the systems menu in side of irix and al the monitors whent black. But now that im trying to boot it up im just getting error messeges.
ALERT: /te/node/xtalk/9/pci PCI BRiDGE ERROR int_status is 0xffffffff80005000
WARNING: 12: PCI device reported paity error
WARNING: 13: PCI Bridge reported paity error
WARNING: 31: Mutiple errors occured
WARNING: PCI/GIO error upper adress registered 0x0
WARNING: PCI/GIO error lover adress registered 0x2000010
PANIC: CPU 0: PCI BRiDGE ERROR interupped killed the system
Reboot started from CPU 0
CPU 0 Rebooting

then nothing more happens.
 
First my discalimer, I'm not a hardware expert but...

You didn't say what kind of SGI you have???

The /te/node/xtalk/9/pci... error to me, means something in your pci slot is causing the system to fail power on. So, if you have any pci cards installed in this machine, you may try removing them and see if the system will successfuly power on.

Right now, it's kind of a process of elimination to trace the hardware failure to which ??? specific hardware is causing the power on failure.
