HELP!!!! NON-STOP POP UPS!

I have a problem in I.E.6. Whenever I open my browser I get non-stop pop ups. It is almost impossible to keep up with them. I can't stop them. I went into task manager and a process is running "TGCDE I.E. Plugin". It won't allow me to stop it. I looked to see if anything was installed by accident and it isn't. I am not sure where to look in the registry, but beleive something may be inbedded in there. Please help, I'm going nuts.

What OS are you using? Try booting into Safe Mode and run MSCONFIG, see if you can disable it from there.

Try running Lavasoft's AdAware. This should help if hot completely eliminate the pop-ups. "Inter faeces et urinam, nascimur."

If that doesn't work and you have windows 95, 98, or ME download Startlog.com from below then run it. It'll create 2 text files on your desktop. Copy and paste the results of just Startlog (not the stubpaths file) to your reply here. To copy and paste if you don't know, when the results appear click edit--select all--edit--copy--then come here and right click in your reply window and select paste or click edit then paste.
