My Virutal WinNT 4.0 server will not connect to the outside world.
Running WinNT 4.0 server in VMWare server on a Windows 2003 host on a Dell 2950 with ONE Broadcom BCM5708C NIC.
It's set up for network bridging. Only ONE Broadcom NIC is enables and is running vmware bridging protocol.
The virtual WinNT server WILL connect fine to the host computer but it can't ping the gateway. The static IP's are definitely correct.
I'm not sure if the "Network Bridge" in the Win 2003 server's Network connection is used by VMWare. I don't think so. It's disabled. I'm not doing any other bridging or teaming.
I sure would like to hear some clues to help solve this.
Thanks.
