Hi,
I've got two boxes with Win 2000 Pro. Am wanting to Network them using a Crossover cable. as well as sharing the Internet Access of one. Any help would be greatly appretiated. Thanks, Wonder21

1)Make sure both are in the same workgroup.
2)Make sure both are in the same subnet.
3)Create an account on each one for the other computer.
4)Share at least one folder.

1)= network identification tab of system shows both being in the exact same workgroup
2)= use the same IP addressing scheme ie one on 192.168.2.1 the other 192.168.2.2
3)= in order to access anything on the other computer, you need a users account set up for the other computer
4)= If no folders are shared, you cant transfer files

Thanks,
And Is there a way to share the Internet access from one to the other?

You could try ICS on the one connectoed to the internet.

matt, you are much more helpful than me. Good work soldier.
