Hi,

i am using sql command in crystal report.
my command conatians joins from all the required tables and where and group by clause.

in my command, i am using grouping.
so in crustal report i can drag and drop only field which are in sql command select statement.

but i want to define some selection creterial in record selction.
but i do not have some report filed. because it is not in
sql command select statemnt.
how can i access that field.

thanks.

Depending on your version of Crystal, you may be able to link tables to the command records.

Failing that, you'd need to rewrite the SQL

I would strongly discourage adding additional tables outside of the command and linking it to the command. This will cause your report to be less efficient. I would encourage you to modify your command to reflect the changes that you need as you will much happier with the performance.
