Hello Panasonic experts!
Long story short- I’m an Avaya tech that takes care of a condo building that uses their Ipoffice as a giant inter building intercom. One of the tenants told the maintenance they were having a house phone issue. That’s where I come in. I get to the unit and find that they have a Panisonic KX TAW848 with KXT 7731 phones. The issue is that they have a phone in the bathroom that doesn’t ring when any line on the other phones ring. When I call any line that rings on the other phones I can’t ever pick it up from that phone. I see the light go solid looking line it is being used even as it is ringing the other phones.. I found a programming guide and think the option might be 60? Call pickup deny?
I can make calls from any of the lines on the phone in question. I’m not sure how to determine what the phone in question’s extension is yet alone program it.
From what I’ve read it looks like you have to enter to program mode by pressing Program *1 and the password of 1234 as long as it’s still default. And then press hold?
Am I heading in the right direction?
She also wants to update some speed dial numbers. Thanks in advance.
