I currently am trying to find a solution to a DTS job that I have running in SQL Server 2000.
The data is transformed from SQL Server 2000 table to an Oracle 8 table. The problem is that in the source SQL Server table Column A has 8 characters and no spaces [Varchar2(254)], in the destination table, column A is also a Varchar2(254), however the DTS job put in trailing spaces making up the whole Varchar2(254).
Is there something that can be done within the DTS job to make sure the trailing spaces do not get inserted into the columns.
