HELP needed badly!!

Have a project due in a couple of hours and everything is working fin execpt the sound. I dont know why but no matter what i do the whenever i render the sound in AE there is a pause in the soundtrack about every second or so. I tried rendering without any visuals but i am sitll getting the same result.

I am several soundtracks placed in different orders to create teh sound that I need, when I do a test preview for sound it sounds perfect, but whenever I render it, it just sounds wrong.

Any ideas or suggestions?

It sounds as a format problem
so,first try to render in a different format/codec
then try in the preference-output
to change the audio block duration to the duration of your composition
