I'm new at this, there's proabaly a simple answer but I don't have it!
There is a table that has a number of entries for each customer. I need to add a field to my report that calculates the number of instances that each customer shows up in that particular table and report that number for each customer.
I would like it to be part of the detaols area as this report will ultimatly be exported as a csv file.
How is it done???

Try something like:

Group by Customer.

Create a formula with the following

count({Customer.Customer Name},{Customer.Customer Name})

You can place it in the details or a footer and get correct results.
