I am creating a crytal report8.5 that I need to have the first page margins different than any second page that prints. I am creating a donor wall plaque and the first page should have a 1.8 inch margin on top, 2 inch margin on bottom and then if the data flows to a second (or 3 etc) page I need them to have 1 inch margins on top 1 inch on bottom.

Any help would be great.

Split (Insert Section Below) the Page header and footer to sections a & b.

Make the a sections 1 inch tall.

Set their suppress property expression to:
PageNumber > 1

view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Okay that worked except now I realize that I need the change to occur with the start of a new group. Each group starts on a new page and on the first page of the new group I need the margins to change. Any ideas?

Add to the mix a global variable that gets set in the group footer and gets reset in the Page footer.

I apologize for being so naive, I am just now getting into detail formulas. I am not sure what a global variable is or how to add it to the database. I tried looking through help but did not see anything that made sense to me.

Thanks so much for the help!
