We just upgraded our SBC DSL to include static IP addresses. However, now we cannot connect to the Internet anymore. Nothing has changed besides the static upgrade. Here is my setup:

A Linksys BEFSR41 router - I changed from PPPoE connection to Static using the addresses given to me by the ISP.
LAN addresses:
IP: 192.168.50.254
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

WAN addresses (from ISP):
IP: 67.118.162.160
Subnet: 255.255.255.248
Gateway: 67.118.162.80
DNS (primary): 63.202.63.70
DNS (secondary): 206.13.28.10

Windows 2000 Server - This server uses DHCP and DNS to server 10 client computers. Using IPCONFIG I found the following addresses:
IP: 192.168.50.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.50.254
DNS (primary): 192.168.50.1
DNS (secondary): 63.202.63.70

67.118.162.160 subnet mask 255.255.255.248 is not a usuable IP address. X.X.X.160 is the network address for the /29 subnet. The range of usable addresses you can use is 161 through 166. Try changing your WAN address to 67.118.162.161 subnet 255.255.255.248.
