scenario:
The administrator will not open and an error message is retuned:
A connection could not be made to the MES computer '\GAMMA01'.

you do not have permissions required to complete this operation.

I know this sounds bad, are you logged in as the administrator (or equivalent)? If you are, I have had this problem when the Exchange service is not running for some reason.
