I've installed PopupNukerPro ( and it is easy, cool and effective and i solve the problem with perfomance.
I get no pop ups on my machine as it is clean....
What protection are you running in the way of Antivirus and antispyware? I think you need to protect in several different way these days... reliable av, adaware se, spybot and zone alarm, ridiculous, but the way the internet is at the moment....
