I need to create a job for a server in my SAN/Library, and need some confirmation of what can and cannot be done.

I have a netware server (S1) as my primary and two windows 2003 (S2 and S3)

I created 3 media pools so that the systems know not to take the tapes for the other jobs. I plan on removing and instering all media on a daily basis because our PV-132t doesn't recognize the IE slot as a mail slot.

The pools all have a 0 day retension and 0 in the min save set.

I want to do 2 jobs with each server J1 is a overwrite/full and J2 is an append/diff. They are not rotation jobs they are custom on day of the week.

OK now my problem, J1 runs and moves the media into the save set. J2 runs media moves to the scratch set. Formats it and runs...
..HELP how do I get 2 jobs to write to one tape using a pool?

Never use 0 day retention and 0 min save set.

Use at least a value of 1 in each. For the second job choose the option to append rather than overwrite.
