HELP! Lost Drive

I have reformatted a drive and it was fine just empty.
I then noticed it was partitioned and removed/deleted the partition now my drive no longer appears in "my computer"
I can see it on the start up and on the basic settings on startup, I can also see it on device manager I just can't seem to assign it as the D drive (I hope that's all I need to do)
Any ideas?

It has to be partitioned and formated before Windows will "see" it.
