Help just brought system up

I had a down system and I just brought it back up it is a new cabinet with the original programming - I am able to make outbound calls but when I call in none of the phones ring and after 4 or 5 rings it goes to the mail system. Is that something that I need to activate to allow the pulse generator?

no, you don't have a pulse generator.. or a flux induction coil.. it's a switch, not a space capsule..(friday response) . when you call in, are you comming in a a t1, pri or analog trunks? go to load 80 .. trace the calls to determine if your rec digits per a did.. print a trunk, does it have atdn xxxx.. add that number to a set and retest... your either getting digits (did) or auto term to a station, if the console is not up or in night, prt nit is ld 21

Well on the Avaya the ports on each crad have a ring generator thats why I thought this one did too

i knew you were using names from a different switch, i do that myself.. still refer to tn's as lens or pads at times.. each switch has it's own lang or at least a slang version of english,, did you find the problem?

Yeah bad power-supply - it was power the switch but not sending any ring generator to the phones (Avaya talk). As you can see I am much more at home with Avaya
