would like info on all browsers, like opera, etc. i wrtie for ie, aren't they all adapting to the same regimen of code?
 
In order to make your scripts work in all these browsers: NN4.x, N6, IE, Opera, use Netscape's "old" javascript documentation (written for Navigator 3.0). It may sounds too old now, but from my experience I can tell that it never fails when we talk about cross-browser solutions.

for cross-browser CSS use this:
(but don't believe so much in their compatibility statements as it's not always correct - check it all yourself!)
