I have the patch for my 4.0.6 installation but when I try to install it, I get "can't find file to patch at input line 3". It appears that it is trying to patch a file called rfc1867.c, but that file does not exist anywhere on my system. The only file close to that name that I have is rfc1867.h.

Thanks for any help.

I believe this was covered in this thread thread434-221223 ***************************************

Unfortunately, it wasn't covered in that post. As you can see I posted this same question to that post and didn't get any help. It looks like there is a piece of information missing that I need.

Well, plain and simply, rfc1867.h AND rfc1867.c are both included in the PHP source code. So, if you don't have one of these, then you don't have the full source code. Go grab the source again from php.net.

There's no point in looking for it anywhere else on your system. The whole point is this operation needs to be performed inside the source code tree for PHP, and then PHP needs to be recompiled and re-installed. -------------------------------------------
