Hi.
I'm trying to install Progress 9 on AIX 4.3.3.
Progress tells me it needs JAVA JVD to install itself.
I downloaded Java but it tells me it needs some requisite files such as:
X11.adt.lib 4.3.3.10
X11.base.lib 4.3.3.75
X11.base.rte 4.3.3.75
X11.motif.lib 4.3.3.75
X11.motif.mwm 4.3.3.75
I cannot seem to figure out how to get these files.
Any ideas?
Thanks
John Hanna

Well, I couldn't find them on my regular installation disks, but the filesets you list are installed on my system. It is possible they were installed when I installed Java. Are you sure you got all the filesets for Java when you downloaded it?

X11.adt.lib
X11.base.lib
X11.base.rte
X11.motif.lib
X11.motif.mwm

The base level filesets are on the 4.3.3 installation media; once the base level filesets are installed you can download the ML versions from the IBM fixdist site.
