I’ve been trying to install a blank Indigo off a SuSE Linux server that contains the IRIX distribution.
I’ve been able so far to boot off the server and partition the hard drive. However, after that point I try to choose “Install System Software” after which I enter the name or IP of the Linux server, then various paths in attempt to get it going. In each case I get “Unable to reach <host>”. I can see that the Indigo is attempting bootp connections but failing.
I guess my basic questions are this:
- What should I be entering the path to, exactly?
- I have verified that bootp, tftp, and rsh are running on the Linux server. What else do I need?
Thanks!
