help inserting text into Excel using a pop up window

I have written a macro in Excel that firstly asks for a name to be entered as a sheet name. I have then produced another window to pop up and ask for an individuals name and i want it to paste into Cell A2 in Excel but am having difficulty.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to help but could you specify your problem some more please?

Where does the problem exactly occur?
at the input of data? filling your cells?
and are you trying to do this using VB or only VBA in excel?

The problem occurs in the actual filling of the cells as far as i can gather. The pop up box works but i did get an error that said i couldnt change part of a merged cell. So i unmerged the cells and tried again but this time there was no error message it just didnt work!
