Hi,

Not sure where the problem is - you don't say - but I always use the DWG Link Manager (located in the Utilities tab). The drawing usually comes in fine though sometimes I need to change the viewport configuration (in VIZ) so that 'Force 2-sided' is checked.

One thing to remember though - the whole drawing will be imported as one 'lump' unless its layered or coloured. I always assign any separate 3d objects/parts to different layers in AutoCAD first. This way, when you insert the DWG you can specify to assign these layers as separate VizBlocks, making it easier to deal with in VIZ.

Hope this helps,
