I work on a pc and exported a document to a PDF from indesign, and when I opened it on another computer (to see if everything is allright) and tried to print it; now, that printer driver is a postcript driver it printed out an error, so I disabled the postscript passthrough and then printed the file, but the problem is that it came out greyish like little dots in the text when it should of been black, any help would highly appreciated.

Thanx so much

What was the error?

THe error was:
ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: StartData

STACK:

When you saved as PDF, do you know if you saved as PS 1, 2 or 3? The printer, what make? HP's and some others claim to be PS but are nothing more than clones, not true PS. The more info you provide, the better we will be able to help, or at least narrow down your problem.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
