I need to create a dsn on business objects enterprise.

Steps in creating a dsn on business objects enterprise

Can you be more specific as to what you are trying to do?
A DSN for Reports, the Enterprise server, what?

In the Business objects enterprise they have asked me to create a DSN and i can use that DSN for all my reports.

Hi,
A DSN for reports is not specific to Business Objects -
You would need to create one on your client machine AND on the BOE server so that it can use the same connection ytype and database that your repoirt was designed with ( by far the easiest way to handle published report's database connections)

Create a system DSN for the database used for your reports and recreate it on th BOE server using the same name.

Hi,
The same method, but you must be connected to and logged into the Server hosting your BOE stuff.

You may need to ask IT to do it if you do not have rights to the server's system.
