We are embarking on a new application development project. We are using Silverstream application server and have the Silverstream page designer. We were told to develop all new aplications using JSP. Does anybody know of any good JSP designer tool that would be capable of RAD development.

Your help would be grealty appreciated,

Alexander.

There are not many tools out there that support JSP yet. Dreamweaver UltraDev does, Homesite does, and most Java IDEs now support JSP. The problem is that you are not going to find a tool that allows the drag and drop features of say a Interdev. You really need to have a good knowledge of Java to do JSP development unless you take extreme measures to separate presentation from content (aka Custom Tags).

I personally use JBuilder for all JSP editing it does a great job with code insight whereas other tools (ahem Visual Cafe) tend to pall in comparison. Wushutwist
