Okay guys, I work with EXTREMELY LARGE AI Documents which need to be saved to EPS's. Normally I don't have a problem with them But today I have a job that has a lot of elements in the design that I think is slowing the conversion to EPS.

I have tried to lower my raster settings to 72 dpi, but the save time takes about a half hour per file to save. Then sometimes i get a message that says "Can't Save Illustration, Can't print Illustration"

I cannot lose anymore elements in this design. is there anything else that i can do to save to EPS form that might help in this situation.

...out of interest have you tried going to flattened pdf, then save from acrobat as eps with this problem file?

...can be resource hungry the adobe apps, so ensuring you only habe illy running can sometimes help...

...another option is to print to postscript, distill to pdf, then save to eps from acrobat...

Have you tried un-ticking the Create PDF option and tried that?

Carl.
