Help! ID 2.0 to CS2?

Help! We finally upgraded from ID 2.0 to CS2 (no CS inbetween) and I can't open my old docs, I get this error: "Adobe InDesign is shutting down. Aserious error was detected. Please restart InDesign to recover work in any unsaved ID doc.s"

What do I do?

Did you upgrade from 2.0.2? Make sure that your INDD files were saved in the latest patched version before opening in newer releases.

YES, I think 2.02(710) is the latest.?
I have some files that work, some that don't.
Have also found a work-around that sometimes works, but it is a pain.
figured there must be another way.?
