Help-I throw files outa library, but xxx.fla still big?why?how? 1

I exchanged the bigger wav files with mp3 files in the library, when I deleted the original wav files , I saw the .fla file stay big. How to really delete the wav library-files like I never imported them. I am using Flash MX, help?~~

save as and give the file a new name

delete the old one

rename the new one back to the original name.

Don't delete the old one! Rename it with a .bkp extension, until you're sure you haven't scrapped some important stuff!
