well not really, but close enough... I was adjusting the permissions to try and hide the lists from users during a testing period, and i accidentally changed some of the advanced permissions settings and now the All Lists has disappeared altogether from Exchange System Manager... (Exchange 2000)

i can't even see it when i'm administrator! any clues on how to get this back?

thanks,
Wes

Well...

I'm not in front of my server at the moment, but if you were in the Advanced Options tab and checked the 'Hide From Address List' (i think that is how it reads) box. Then no, they are not gone. If you look at the 'Private Information Store' listed under your Exchange Server tree (left side of screen in Exchange Administrator) you will be able to access the list and any 'hidden' mailboxes there.

Hope that's what your looking for. Jason Wilder

thanks Jason, but i didn't "hide the lists" in that way, i actually went into the advanced security properties and was trying to remove rights to them from all users temporarily... what i didn't realize is that i guess this removed my rights as well, so even as admin i can no longer see the lists in the system manager... any idea how i could get them back or access their security properties?

thanks,
Wes
