If I make a circle and fill it in, I only see the outer edge of the circle, even though it says its filled in.
Whats going on!?

Thanks!

You are in outline view, change to preview by either going to View - Preview or by hitting Ctrl + Y (Windows).

Ug...thats sort of what I thought. I hit that button a ton of times and it won't change.

I blame vista.

Thanks for the help though!

What about your layer? Do you see a filled eye on the palette or does it show the outline?

Last place to check is the appearance palette, to make sure that no effect is being applied to your shape.

If all else fails, delete the AIPrefs file.

I just restarted my computer and now the outline/preview feature is working again.

I still blame vista.

Thanks again!

From all that I've heard, the blame you are placing is falling on the correct target!
