After running Xconfigurator, my monitor is blinking like crazy when I boot up. Is there any way I can get it to stop?? I can't login since it won't hold still long enough (~ 1 second between blinks!). I've tried CTRL+ALT with Backspace and also with F2. I know where to go fix the file if I can ever get in there!

I would boot into single user mode. When you see the lilo prompt, type:
linux single

Or if your defualt kernel is not named 'linux', replace that with your current kernel name. Then you will get a bash prompt, where you can go in and fix the file. Bruce Garlock

Thank you! The 'linux single' command at LILO: got me in there so I can do some mods to the files. I was starting to go into human kernel panic mode.

When I ran Xconfigurator it should have made a backup of the original XF86Config file, so I'm off to find it.
