Hi, first of the spec's:
Compaq Evo 510sff, P2.26, with 128ram, and W2KPro sp4.
I am having a problem with a pc that is running Office XP pro. It seems like all of a sudden it is producing a error: Faulting application winword.exe, version 10.0.4219.0, faulting module winword.exe, version 10.0.4219.0, fault address 0x0002c786. This has come up 3 times this past week while the user is in the middle of a report. What happens is the user will be typing up a report and then it will either lock up or close word w/o allowing her to save. Then when she goes and opens up word it goes and recovers the document that she was working on but there is nothing there it is just a blank page or even say it will show only 1 of 3 pages. I tried loading Office XP sp3 and today I got the same error but the only difference is this: "Faulting application winword.exe version 10.0.6612.0 faulting module mso.dll, version 10.0.6626, fault address 0x005aa31. Can someone help?

Believe it or not, this is frequently due to printer drivers. Try uninstalling ALL network printers from the machine in question, then reinstall.

Tired of waiting for an answer? Try asking better questions. See: faq222-2244

Thanks for your help. This is a multiuser pc so when the users get in I will remove and re-install there printers. Funny how this issue relates to printers.
