HELP!!! graphic wont fit graphic box

anyone come across this before?
i have a large graphic that i have made in illustrator, its about the size of an indesign page - a4. i save it as an .EPS and then draw a graphic box in indesign. i place the graphic into the graphic box but it seems as though the image is "too big". i.e. if i fit content to frame, i have about a 1cm border all around the graphic that appears to be outside the graphic box. i cant seem to get around this problem. any ideas??

maby in Illustrator, you have bigger "page size" than your graphic & Illustrator save you "page content" not "only content"

Have you tried CTRL+Shift+Alt+E to fit to frame?

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
