I'm at my wit's end. I was moving along nicely in the development of an add-in, just adding incremental features over the past few days. Well, one of the things I added somehow messed things up - even though I didn't add anything that was different from previous features. Now, every time I try to load my workbook, I get a GPF, and Excel exits (even worse, it keeps my personal.xls locked for editing, so I have to reboot to restart useful work). Is there any way I might recover the contents of the VBA project? I can return to a backup that's several days old, but if I can save things...
I'd greatly appreciate any help
Rob

IF OFFICE 2000

1 - ShutDown in MS-DOS
2 - Rename the files above in \Windows\System

Msi.dll
Msiexec.exe
Msihnd.dll

3 - Type: Win
4 - Double Click in: Instmsi.exe in Folder \Msi of MsOffice CD

See what happen. I think this Issue is in Knowledge Base of Microsoft, but i couldn´t find it.

Best Regards

Thanks for that great piece of info, Joao! What I thought might have been irretrievably lost was magically there again. No idea what I actually did, but I guess it doesn't matter now.

Hi again. What you did was restoring the infected files, but you will need to CLEAN that particular Virus in order to prevent destroy the Files again. I dont know if i can help you with this, but try to seek in for "Win95.cih clean"

Best Regards
