HELP FP server extensions installed but still can't connect!

I script by hand with no problems HTML, JavaScript, Java & ASP and have decided to start using Interdev. I installed the NT option pack for win 9x (I am on win 98) and when I tried to install FrontPage 98 server extensions was informed a newer version of these than on the Interdev disk already exisited but needed to be configured in the MMC / Server Extensions Manager. Now I am lost. I have looked at the Manager and can't work out what to do. PWS is installed & running but when I start to ask Interdev to connect to server neither localhost or the name of my computer work. Please help me.
