Hard disk replaced and have to reinstall system. When trying to use boot disk it cannot copy to the hard disk presumably as it is not formatted. Can anyone help me. About to leap out of window!!!

What boot disk? The original installation disks or a recovery disk you made? If latter, with what - SCO emergency boot disks or 3rd party like Microlite or Lonetar?

Where exactly have you run into trouble?

If it's SCO ebd's, see
If not, be more specific.

You didn't try installing this ancient software on modern hardware by any chance?

Thanks for the info. Have already run through this and get to the fsck section of the install when it stops with 'Out of inodes on EAFS dev ram' and will go no further.
