I have a Contivity 100 and I forgot the password to access the config. Does anybody know how to get the password or reset it? I am not very technical.

Thank you

I had the same problem on a Contivity 600 and when I called Nortel support they told me there was no password recovery for the system. The Contivity had to actually be sent in for repair in order to recover from a lost password. I'm not sure that this is the same on the Contivity 100 but it may be. In my case, after three days of trying I finally guessed the password.

Good Luck,

Googer

You can reset CES 100 with dipswitches back one the box.

Have you manage to reset it ?

CES 1010 - 5000 nortel must reset it for you.

Password reset can be accomplished by shutting unit down, put all dipswitches in the down position except switch 4 and switch 8. Power unit on and wait for ALL amber leds on front panel. Shut unit down again. Return ALL dipswitches to the UP position. Power unit on and wait for second led to glow amber. Factory default configs are now set and you will be prompted for a new unit name and password...
