Complete novice needs help. Just bought a Wireless G notebook adapter and a Wireless G ADSL Gateway. Me and the missus have a card in our laptops. Ive set it up and its working but I have no security to stop someone having a peek or logging on to my netwrok. Can anyone give me step by step advice an what button to press etc? Ive read the manuals but its a little bit too technical. Thanks in advance. My missus is a little worried we aint protected.

As far as step by step this is fairly easy to accomplish from the web interface. Just type the IP address of the router in the address bar and enter admin for the password, no username need to be entered, and yuo are in. It would be best to make all of the changes via ethernet connection so as to not kill your connection. Make same change on wireless devices and you should be good.
