Help for a newbie. Vlans across switches

n my test environment, I have 2 3808.
3808 #1 VLAN default 10.5.0.1/16
port 1:16 tagged
port 1:1 untagged-> Windows PC(1) connected ip 10.5.0.15

conf ipr add 10.6.0.0/16 10.5.0.2
ena ipf

3808 #2 Vlan default 10.5.0.2/16
port 1:16 tagged

3808 #2 Vlan test 10.6.0.1/16
port 1:1 untagged Windows pc(2) ip 10.6.0.15 config ipr add 10.5.0.0/16 10.5.0.2 ena ipf

Now I can ping 3808 #1 from #2 and vice versa I can telnet into 3808 # 1 from PC(2) and vice versa But I can not ping PC 1 from PC 2 Any help?

Hello,

You must use too:
enable ipforwarding vlan <vlan-name> for each vlan

do a sho ipconfig (or show vlan) to see the ipstatus on your vlans

Agree with NARBE, check IP forwarding

Also, what are the default gateway IP addresses for the two PC's.

 
Thanks everybody. The problem is solved, and turned out to be a bad SMMi board. Replaced it, and no more problems...
