Help finding a PPP ISP for Mac OS 8.6 B&W G3

have a friend looking for cheap PPP dialup in NYC, the OS is 8.6 and the hardware won't support an OS upgrade to X (well at least without a $260 investment).

She's thinking about AOL but I think a PPP connection is all she needs. Was wondering if anyone had experience with providers that have access numbers in the NYC area that OS 8.6 could take advantage of?

I think Juno is now offering access for Macs. They advertise at $9.95/month.

offered PPP conections and service for MAC system 8.6.

Juno was asking for either 9.1 or higher when I checked under requirements - but thanks for the tip!

there's always earthlink, they are national, with pretty decent mac support. (Some local ISP's will say, "you have a what?" Ugh.
