Dear Steve,
Go to add remove programs. Make sure to have your CD available, if required.
Select Crystal 8.5, choose Change.
When the next dialog box comes up choose Remove.
Go To the first folder, Crystal Reports Programs, then find help. Choose, entire feature will be unavailable.
Click Next as prompted and finish.
Now, once it is complete, redo the process except when you go to help, select the Compiled (CHM) help, and choose will be installed on the hard-drive.
Click next as prompted and finish.
You should now have help installed.
