Hi;

We have an application that uses help files. It works perfect on some of our workstations, but not others. We are all running Win95b. It also does not work on an NT station.

The application is VFP6, executable, with no network connections. If we run the help file from Win Explorer, it works. It does not work from VFP command prompt or from the compiled .exe, on the specified workstations. The help file is HTML help file, not WinHelp.

Sounds like a Rights issue on the server. David W. Grewe

Nope, the files are all on the workstation, with no network activity required or wanted.

Ok, my team member found, in an indirect way, a note on the MicroSoft site that the FOXHELP.EXE and the FOXHHELPPS.DLL files need to be copied and installed on systems that do not have VFP6 installed on them.

There is no mention of these two files in the MicroSoft documentation about files required for using HTML help.

Microsofts documentation is like Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, there is a large GAAP in it.
