help - export .fla with streaming mp3 into .avi

my animation has streaming mp3 files throughout the movie consisting of many layers and scenes. when i export the movie into .avi there is no sound. am i doing sth wrong or? i am an apsolute beginner in Macromedia flash. please help. thx!!

Is everything on the main timeline? Nothing in movie clips?
If so movie clips content will not be exported... And you must publish your movie for Flash 5, not any higher.

You might also want to look into converting an outputed .swf, rather than exporting your movie as an .avi from the Flash application...

everyrthing is on the timeline. there are 3 inserted separate mp3 streams. i have tried publishing for flash 5 - doesnt work. i have tried different compressors - doesnt work. i have tried flash to video encoder - the movie and the sound are converted into avi, but the ratio is lost: the movie is too slow and the sound doesnt follow the frames any more.
i'll try this other application you mentioned. in the meantime, do you know any solution for my problem with FTV Encoder?
